Sing with The Coos Singers
If you can sing on pitch, you're in. Fill in a few details and we'll save you a chair at the next Monday rehearsal.
Monday evenings, 6 to 8pm
First Presbyterian Church, 2238 Pony Creek Rd, Coos Bay. Fall term rehearsals start August 31.
No auditions
You don't need to read music. We just ask that you can sing on pitch; we'll help you find your part.
Dues are $30 a term
We sing three terms a year, each ending in a free public concert. Your first rehearsal is free to try, and scholarships are available.
Bring a friend
Choir is better shared. Newcomers are welcome at the start of any term.

What to expect
Your first term, start to finish

Your first Monday
Show up a few minutes early. We'll hand you a music folder, find your voice part, and seat you next to an experienced singer. That's the whole onboarding.

Learning the music
We rehearse everything together, and practice tracks are available so you can learn your part at home by ear. Reading music helps but is never required.

The rhythm of a term
A term runs about twelve Mondays and builds toward one free public concert. Pay the $30 dues once you decide to stay.

Concert night
We dress simply, warm up together, and sing for a full house of neighbors. Then we start the next term and do it all again.
